Using the flash brought the subject out.

Again the scan does not do it justice.

Practice shots with 110mm lens and flash

I changed the 40mm lens and connected the flash.

But just had to capture the sun breaking through, the sun over the sea.

 These first scans are images which were taken with the 40mm lens on my Bronica.

The actual prints are a lot better, but I wasn't going to spend an hour or so correcting through software - I've got more pictures to take.

The 40 mm lens just wasn't giving me the images I had in  my head, but the compositions would allow me to crop in the darkroom at a later day.
